Newphoria
A first presentation in Paris
PAD Paris 2025 marked Hugo Cahill’s debut at the fair. Presented by Second Pétale and curated by Arina Pouzoullic, the selection brought together the first high jewellery collection, Renaissance, and an introduction to Chiaroscuro.
For Newphoria, Arina Pouzoullic invited Carole de Bona, founder and curator of Bel Ouvrage, to conceive the exhibition setting. Jewellery was presented alongside furniture and objects made by artisans, bringing together jewellery, design and the decorative arts.
For Hugo, the presentation introduced a vocabulary of sculpted metal, unusual gemstone cuts and contrasting finishes. The jewels were conceived as objects in the round, with as much attention given to their profiles and supporting structures as to their principal stones.

The exhibition began an ongoing relationship between Hugo Cahill and Second Pétale at PAD.
Phokialí
The Phokialí Ring brings polished yellow gold, topaz and diamonds into a compact sculptural form. Convex gold surfaces alternate with pavé, making the change between smooth metal and faceted stone central to its construction.
