Valkyria Maris Ring

L'Eau Trois

The sea is rarely still. Even in stone it continues to shift.

Five Larimars rise from a polished gold shell, each revealing its own tide of pale blue, white and deeper currents. Their faceted surfaces catch the light with unexpected clarity, offering a new expression of a mineral more often encountered as a cabochon.

Larimar has perfect cleavage in two directions and a hardness that falls as low as 4.5 on the Mohs scale, one reason it is rarely faceted. These five stones were cut exclusively for the piece by an independent lapidary working closely with the Maison in Portugal, each cut to a matched depth so the domes sit on a single plane. The ring was assembled, set and finished in Geneva.
