Seven hexagonal Swiss blue topazes, set close enough to act as one, rise into a shallow dome, each stone tilted just enough to catch the light differently as the hand turns. Their stepped facets hold one clear, even blue, broken by flashes of reflected light along the edges.
Beneath, the gold began as hexagonal prisms, broken, twisted and sculpted into broad arches that cross, separate and return around the finger. Polished surfaces alternate with rose-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds, and the openings between the arches let light reach beneath the crown.
Seen from above, the topazes settle into a rosette. From the side, the structure reads as a sequence of curves, apertures and points of contact.
