Phokialí Nyktos Cuff

Chiaroscuro

Named for the night, the cuff was made to fold a shell into darkness and let a single blue open at its centre.

Shakudō rises into smooth convex fins traced with London blue topazes, and at the heart of the piece a decagonal Larimar, cut as a modified brilliant, is ringed by a double halo of diamonds, while the interior is worked in warm gold so that the darkness of the alloy is held against it from within.

The fin form recurs in the Phokialí Ring and Earrings.
