Lovelace Volute Necklace
Chiaroscuro
The Lovelace Volute Necklace moves across the collarbone in two sweeping spirals, one broad and generous, the other drawn into a tighter curl.
Mauve and pink diamonds follow the carved paths of the volutes in subtle shifts of colour. Diamond set rings connect the central motif to the yellow gold chain, introducing flashes of blue green at the points of suspension.
Beige gold appears along the edges and reverse, warming the depth of the waxed oxidised silver. The contrast between the metals sharpens each curve and gives the necklace a strong sculptural character.
