Ephyra Ring
Chiaroscuro
Named for Ephyra, the old name for Corinth, the ring was made to look recovered rather than made, a fragment of a civilisation that has gone.
An unheated sapphire with a chequered crown sits within a pierced setting of patinated silver, brilliant-cut diamonds tracing the undulating band. The underside is hollowed to mirror the pattern above, so the hand reads what the eye does.
