Ebb and Glint Earrings
Chiaroscuro
Named for the ebb, when water withdraws and leaves a line that never repeats, the pair was built to resist symmetry: one form extended, the other compact, their height aligned while their proportions shift.
Mirror-polished beige gold meets the darker patina of shibuichi along a boundary that bends, carrying a line of inverted diamonds whose scale changes as the curve turns. An aquamarine hangs at the base of each, one broader, one more restrained.

Shibuichi is a historical Japanese alloy composed primarily of silver and copper. Traditionally employed in metalwork for its subtle tonal range, it develops depth through controlled patination. The aquamarines were acquired through a dealer approved by the NGJA of Sri Lanka. The diamonds were obtained from an established dealer in Germany. Supplier declarations and purchase records are retained where available. Provenance is described in accordance with the atelier’s Ethical Practice framework.
