Tourmalines, Emeralds, Diamonds, Beige Gold and Shibuichi

A sculptural duet in stillness and flow. These earrings are designed in the shape of stylised hourglasses—architectural, composed, and precise. Elongated green tourmalines are cut into graduated cylinders that taper conically toward the centre.

Set in shibuichi and traced with inverse-set diamonds, each earring conveys a sense of suspended movement. Both earrings are visually lush: one overflows with pavé emeralds, their granular texture evoking moss over stone. In contrast, the other is pared back, its surface like cascading algae clinging to a cliffside.

The contrast of textures, featuring a mirror polish and faceted stones, along with the shibuichi against the greens, creates a sculptural intensity. Beige gold hoops crown the design, giving the overall silhouette a sense of spatial discipline and control.
