Ruby Wedding Bands
Bespoke Jewellery
Bespoke portrait-cut rubies, defined by liquid flat surfaces that privilege depth of colour over faceted brilliance.
Two interpretations. In one, brilliant-cut diamonds run along both laterals, framing the ruby without distraction. In the other, the rails are finished to a high mirror polish so the gold carries the composition alone. Both are engraved within, in Roman numerals.
Edition of two variants · Ref. BES23

The rubies are of Burmese origin and repurposed, cut for this commission by a master lapidary working in Portugal. As with all repurposed stones, their earlier history may not be fully evidenced, and that is disclosed. The diamonds were obtained through specialist suppliers based in Antwerp. Supplier declarations and purchase documentation are retained where available. Provenance is described in accordance with the atelier’s Ethical Practice framework.
